Who we are

Thank you for visiting Aurora Investment Day, operated by Aurora Women’s Club (“we” or “us”), registered as MTÜ Naiste Klubi AuroraEST in Estonia (registration number 80634285). These terms and conditions, along with any referenced documents (the “Terms”), govern your use of our site. By accessing our site, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Aurora Investment Day provides pre-seed to Series A startups ("Applicants") the opportunity to apply to pitch at either a virtual or in-person demo day in front of VC funds and Angels from the Baltics and Nordics.

VC funds and Angels ("Investors") will use specific selection criteria to choose up to 10 successful Applicants to present at Aurora Investment Day. Certain companies and individuals may also sponsor the event ("Sponsors"), governed by a separate sponsorship agreement.

Regulatory matters

1.1 Aurora Investment Day serves only as a platform for Applicants to connect with interested Attendees, present their pitches to attending Investors, and network with like-minded individuals.

1.2 We do not provide Investors with proprietary due diligence, investment materials, or promotional content related to Applicants, nor do we offer or arrange legal documentation for any fundraising efforts by successful Applicants. We do not advise Investors on the merits of any successful Applicant or their pitch presented at Aurora Investment Day. Investors are expected to rely on their own judgment and seek independent advice as needed.

1.3 We do not earn commissions or any other rewards from successful Applicants or attending Investors. Our sole income from Aurora Investment Day comes from Sponsors, as mentioned above.

1.4 Applicants understand that we are not responsible for securing a specific number or type of Investors for Aurora Investment Day, and we do not guarantee that a successful Applicant who pitches at the event will secure fundraising for their company as a result of their participation.

Applicants

2.1 Applicants must complete a registration form in order to participate in Aurora Investment Day.

2.2 We will review all properly submitted registration forms and select up to 10 successful Applicants to present at the Aurora Investment Day demo day.

2.3 We reserve the right to use your company name, website, and personal name from your application for promotional purposes on Aurora Women’s Club’s social media channels.

Investors and Sponsors

3.1. Investors and Sponsors will have the ability to access, view, and share any information or content you provide through your application on our site, including pitch decks and related documents.

3.2. Investors and Sponsors may only access, use, and share your submitted information to evaluate your business proposals and determine your fit for Aurora Investment Day and their investment criteria.

3.3. Investors and Sponsors are not bound by any confidentiality obligations regarding the materials or information you submit to the site.

Attendees

4.1. Attendees of Aurora Investment Day may need to agree to third-party terms and conditions, such as:

4.2. Upon registration, all attendees will be automatically subscribed to our newsletter to stay informed about the site and upcoming Aurora Investment Day events.

Content that you upload to our site

5.1. Any content you upload to our site must either belong to you or you must have the right to use it. Your content will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, so ensure you do not upload any sensitive or confidential information you do not want to share with Investors.

5.2. While you retain ownership of your content, by submitting it to the site, you grant us and other users permission to use it for the intended purposes, including publishing it on the site and as permitted by these Terms.

5.3. You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your content.

5.4. We reserve the right to disclose your identity to any regulator or third party who claims that content you have posted or uploaded to our site violates their intellectual property rights or privacy.

5.5. We also reserve the right to disclose your identity to any third party alleging that your content infringes on their intellectual property or privacy rights.

5.6. We may, but are not obligated to, reject or remove any content that does not comply with these Terms.
